I have taken to calling myself a Narrative Designer. I design games, I write and storyboard for television, I do visual design, among other things. All these disparate arenas come together in a desire to create stories. Moreover, the desire to create stories not solely dictated by the writer: Interactive narratives, driven by the user rather than the writer, freeing rather than constraining the player.
I graduated with honors from the Utrecht School of Arts in 2015, having spent four years in the Interactive Performance Design program. I have since started working freelance, most recently performing Narrative Design duties for Keoken Interactive’s Deliver us the Moon, as well as expanding my graduation project Exit, Pursued By A Bear. I sometimes hide behind the professional façade of The Floor is Lava!.
